Hello friends, I hope you enjoyed the end to 2024 and that the planner and journal stack you chose for this year is bringing you joy and productivity. If you have yet to start a new planner, that’s OK too - our analogue tools are meant to work for us, to keep us present in the moment and intentional with our time. Start when you feel ready.
Here is my current 2025 planner and journal stack:
Sterling Ink N2/Weeks - hobby journal, to track and document my fountain pens & inks, books read, podcasts listened to, shows watched, etc.
Hobonichi A6 5-year diary - daily “little joys” and drawing with a glass dip pen using fountain pen inks
Travelers Notebook standard - inserts for creative journaling and travel
Hobonichi Weeks - creative memory keeping and daily highlights
Sterling Ink B6 notebook - stream of consciousness journaling
PLOTTER A5 rings - planner
Hobonichi A5 5-year diary - daily archive of events
As you can see in the above list, I only really need one personal planner while I tend to have multiple dated journals and memory keepers. What can I say, I love documenting life’s highlights and memories!
I’ve been using a PLOTTER A5 ring system for planning and I have to admit that I think I've found my “planner peace” (the contentment of staying in a planner without the desire to move on to something else). The ring system is just such a flexible and manageable tool. I hope that feeling lasts all year!
That being said, I may have added a daily planner and (yet another) journal to my lineup for fun - more on this soon.
ACQUISITION
For my 40th birthday in December, I chose a fountain pen that I fell in love with right away: the Leonardo Momento Zero x Stilo Stile “Kintsugi” fountain pen, specially released for Black Friday. The pen is named “Kintsugi”, after the Japanese technique of mending broken ceramic pieces using gold. This pen is meant to represent a fragile beauty, a concept I instantly fell in love with. I inked it with Robert Oster “honey bee”, one of my favourite mustard-yellows and I’m so happy with the pairing.
Here’s a closer look at this pen on my YT channel: Leonardo x Stilo&Stile Momento Zero "Kintsugi" | New Pen Day
My husband also gifted me a Lamy AL-Star Harry Potter edition Ravenclaw fountain pen (bringing back childhood memories) which I’m using with a blue Lamy cartridge. I find the Lamy a great everyday writer and reliable pen - with the snap cap, it’s a pen I can easily reach for to jot something down quickly.

COMING UP
This month, I have an exciting YouTube video coming out on January 13th to celebrate my friend Erick from Amarillo Stationery launching his inaugural line of fountain pen inks (to say I’m excited is an understatement). Stay tuned - I think you’ll enjoy it.
As shared in my November Roundup, I’m part of the 2025 TombowUSA Creator Crew (yay!) As part of the team, I got happy mail from them consisting of basically every one of their products. I’ve been organzing my space to showcase the colours to inspire me to create. If you follow me on socials, you’ve seen video and photos of my creative space and it’s still evolving. Thanks for being here!
Cheers,

Love this, Carola! Your stack is beautiful!
Thank you for the fun read! I got a bottle of Robert Oster "Honey Bee" on the way after I swatched yours 😅 Also love the idea that you can have a "planner peace" planner and still add/remove other journals for fun!
