I don’t know about you, but I feel like February flew by in a flash. Still, lots of things happened, so let’s take a look back.
I started live streaming about stationery on Twitch - I’ve been sharing my process of painting with fountain pen inks, currently inked fountain pens, and more. If you can join live (or want to watch replays either on Twitch or YouTube), check it out. I’m enjoying the live hangouts; if you’ve been able to join - thank you! If you want to join a future stream, check my Substack NOTES section for updates:
A few things we’ve been doing live:
Painting with fountain pen inks (abstract florals and ink ponies)
If you want to download and colour this ink pony illustration from Lisa (OliveOctopus), check out the Ink Pony Club.
CALIFORNIA PEN SHOW:
The highlight of the month was definitely attending the California Pen Show (Feb 13th - 16th in Los Angeles). If you missed my recap post, make sure to take a look:
I also posted the video footage that I captured at the show on my YouTube channel:

ICYMI
In case you missed it, here are some stationery related content that I shared last month:
On YouTube -
Answering 8 More Pen Questions, about fountain pens that were voted on in @Seemownay Discord. This was fun, and kind of tough!
The questions:
1. Do you have different uses for different pens?
2. How do you choose the inks and pens you will use next?
3. Which pen do you prefer for longer writing sessions?
4. What is your all-time favorite pen?
5. If you have to choose one nib size, which would it be?
6. What is your favorite nib grind?
7. If you could only use one ink for the rest of your life what would it be?
8. What is an absolute deal breaker for you? For a pen? For ink?
BONUS: What is one pen everyone should have?
February currently and notably inked fountain pens - chatting about nibs, inks, and swatching:
COMING UP
In March, I’ll be live streaming, going on a small road trip here in British Columbia, and switching a few things up in my planner lineup. Nothing drastic, just a little experiment.
Until next time, thanks for being here!
