After what felt like an endless number of days, January is finally over. I don’t know about you, but I for one am glad to have the first month of the year completed in my planners and journals.
If you missed my last Substack post, I shared that I added two more notebooks (one for planning and one for journaling) to my planner and journal stack, bringing the total up to nine. Anyway, here is my stack as it stands in Feb (it’s quite heavy!):
ACQUISITION:
No new pens in January, but a fellow fountain pen friend sent me a 10ml ink bottle of “Prune” by L’Ecritoire (from Paris) which is a pretty plum shade. Naturally, I had to do a drawing and writing sample (this is a quote from “The Pivot Year” by Brianna Wiest.)

This month, I’m looking forward to attending the California Pen Show in mid-February (it’ll be my second time) and meet up with fountain pen friends. Stay tuned for a vlog-style video and post afterwards about my experience and haul!
